Balika Vidya Vikas is an NGO in which we take over the responsibility of educating the girls that are unable to attend school for various reasons. We enroll them in schools and check up on their progress from start to finish. A child is adopted into a family by a donor or sponsor and a regular update is sent to the donor or sponsor regarding the progress that is being achieved by the child. Azmeera Mohan takes responsibility for each child and makes sure that donors communicate with the children and receive up-to-date information about their improvements. All the profiles of these children are available on the site along with details of their parents, names of their villages,s and the sponsor who is helping them. Every year 36,200 girls receive the benefits of education with the help of Balika Vidya Vikas. Our aim is to create a platform for girls that will help them reach their goals. We support them through their education so that they can pursue their chosen career path.
Girls' lack of education makes them unaware of their legal rights and weakens the path they could take to a bright and confident future. Education is a powerful weapon that can help them become independent and self-reliable, even when faced with obstacles in life, they can always lead their lives with confidence. Educating a girl can lead to educating a family. Education is not just reading, writing, and arithmetic; it is also about giving children opportunities to learn. It is unfortunate that in today's day and time we are still withholding this basic right from girls. Let’s end this discrimination.
